Xeltek is pleased to announce the launch of their SuperPro IS01 ISP Programmer in Spring 2009. This is a state of the art ISP Programmer which is the fastest of its kind available in the market at this time.

The SuperPro IS01 ISP Programmer comes equipped with the following features which make for ease of use and exceptional performance:

• The SuperPro IS01 ISP Programmer supports serial programming protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, BDM, MW, JTAG, among others.
• The SuperPro IS01 comes equipped with a ARM9 MCU processor. This is the fastest ISP programmer currently available in the industry. Xeltek also offers the Linux operating system for the operation and functioning of their SuperPro IS01 ISP Programmer.
• The SuperPro IS01 supports in-circuit tester (ATE) interface provided for high volume automatic programming.
• The SuperPro IS01 is able to function in both the PC mode as well as the stand alone operation via the built in keyboard and LCD display.
• The SuperPro IS01 is able to use a Secure Digital or SD card and allows an unlimited number of project files to be stored in this removable SD card. This is the first programmer in the industry that supports SD card. Since SD technology is the de-facto industry standard for thousands of consumer electronic models, this makes this ISP programmer very versatile; this also increases its applicability greatly.
• Dynamic-link library or DLL is Microsoft’s implementation of the shared library concept in the Windows and OS/2 operating systems. Since the DLL concept is an entrenched one, SuperPro IS01 ISP Programmer offers the DLL command set for third party applications. Similarly, Virtual communication which is the transmission of information, and/ or action to remote or distant locations is also has wide application, so SuperPro IS01 ISP Programmer has made available this command set for third party application.
• One of the chief plusses of the SuperPro IS01 is its extremely compact palm size [137mm (Length) x 87mm (Width) x 47mm (height)]. This greatly increases portability and ease of use.

Xeltek sensed the niche and committed to be the Industry Leader for ISP Programmers market. For this purpose, SuperPro IS01 is designed to be the fastest ISP programmer available w/ built-in ARM9 32bit MCU. We are aware the usage complexity of high level ISP Programmers on the market, therefore Xeltek is presenting the most user friendly and compact ISP programmer: SuperPro IS01

Besides those high level ISP programmers, there are many other variations of ISP programmers. Some IC manufacturers offer very simple programmers at very low cost and there are many costing only a few hundred dollars. But, Xeltek SuperPro IS01 is designed to be used with an ATE or In-Circuit Testers. There is an ATE port available for this purpose. Also, we are planning to support all forms of interfaces as listed in the introductory article.

Since the main application is for industrial and manufacturing; Xeltek will require providing extensive support for each user application, in order to attach SuperPro IS01 to an ATE or In-Circuit tester. For this reason, Xeltek plans to charge for each device used in application. So, we don’t envision providing free device support like we are doing currently for our universal programmers.

Our initial production for evaluation and testing, have been depleted. Next batch should become available within a few weeks. SuperPro IS01 doesn’t have standard list of devices to release at this time, but Xeltek is updating devices upon customer request.
